Why I love my job
I get super motivated if I’m doing something that I can relate to and care for, which is why I love working at Medbelle. Medbelle stands out when it comes to the excellent quality of patient care and patient experience. Through the ups and downs and everything in between, each patient will always find us to support them throughout their life-changing journey.
Best memory with a patient
The patient’s journey at Medbelle does not end with the surgery, and the recovery process can be stressful at times. I remember when one of my patients was waiting for her surgeon’s feedback after a scan she did and was eager to discuss the next steps with him. Waiting was stressful for this patient, and even though I am not a medical expert, I knew I could help. Reassuring the patient that her well-being and health are our priority and that we are following up with her surgeon on a regular basis to be able to provide her with the best next steps for her care helped her feel much better and helped alleviate the stress. Her own words were, “I appreciate your reply and feel relieved that you are doing your best to help and support me; thank you so very much”. Building this trust with my patient was very rewarding!
One thing you wish everyone knew

One piece of advice you'd give patients considering surgery
Regardless of how complex the surgery you're looking into is, you always need to be prepared physically and mentally. Educate yourself about the surgery and ask your surgeon every little question that you can think of.
