I was never bothered about having big boobs. I’m very petite and don’t think it would suit me. 

I wanted surgery more because I was self-conscious when wearing a bikini because I was so flat-chested.

The process was horrible. I just didn’t know where to start. 

I’d heard horror stories. The chain companies that do ads on telly have some really bad reviews.

My surgeon recommended going over the muscle, so that’s what we did. 

I couldn’t believe the price of the surgery for having such a good surgeon. I was expecting it to be a full grand or so more. The price was just fantastic. It wasn’t cheaper than the normal market, but considering the surgeon, I couldn’t believe how affordable it was.

It was fantastic, absolutely brilliant. They found me a fantastic surgeon so quickly. 

My Patient Care Adviser Sarah sent me 2 surgeons, so I did my research on them both and chose one.

It was so quick. If it wasn’t for Medbelle, I don’t think I would have gone through with surgery.

The surgeon made me feel really comfortable. He told me everything I needed to hear.

As soon as I left the consultation, I knew I was going ahead with it.

He made me feel comfortable and told me exactly what I wanted to hear because I was going so small with the implants. I think he even said mine were the smallest he’d ever done (I’m only a B cup after surgery).

My surgeon was the reason. After I’d done my research I knew that he was fantastic. He had unbelievable reviews and made me feel comfortable. 

Sarah was my Patient Care Adviser. She was fantastic. Absolutely lovely. She found surgeons for me so quickly and kept checking in on me.

It wasn’t like I went in, I had the procedure and then heard nothing after. 

She made sure she contacted me after the procedure to see how I was feeling. Overall she was fantastic.

I was expecting some discomfort. Though my surgeon said that it would be a bit less painful for me because he was placing the implant over the muscle instead of completely or partially under the muscle.

I was really calm on my surgery day. The hospital was lovely, even the food I had after surgery was lovely.

The surgeon came in to see me 3 times before the surgery just to see how I was feeling, and to take before pictures, and came to see me after as well. He was fantastic. Absolutely brilliant.

I really didn’t see what the fuss was about. But I had a different type of procedure. My implants were placed completely over the chest muscles instead of under, so my surgeon said this would be a bit less painful during recovery. 

There was no pain at all. I was quite lucky with the pain afterwards. 

When I spoke to the surgeon during my post-op, he did say it was probably also because the implants were smaller. 

I don’t know if it was also because I’ve had children, so my boobs had got quite large because of milk and stuff and obviously went back down. I was left flat-chested after, but the skin had stretched which maybe made it easier for the implant to be put in.

The only thing I couldn’t do for a while was lift my arms above my head to get anything out of cabinets. 

Other than that, when I was sitting down and relaxing there was no discomfort. I didn’t get suffer from any of the shooting pains or other things some people experience during recovery.

I am over the moon. I’m so happy with them.

I’ve had another baby since I had the implants, so my breasts have changed a bit. However, I’m still really really pleased with them.

I have a friend who had hers done and they feel rock-hard. They just don’t feel natural. Whereas, you would never be able to tell I have implants. They’re soft and so natural. 

I’ve told a family member who is interested in implants that they’re probably best off going with the implant over the muscle rather than under the muscle. 

I’ve also told everyone about my surgeon. He was absolutely brilliant. He’s an NHS specialist in breast reconstruction, so I knew he would be pretty amazing.
