Zaher Dannawi

Mr Zaher Dannawi is an experienced Trauma & Orthopaedic Surgeon with over 20 years of expertise. He completed his medical qualifications at Barts & The London Hospital in 1999, followed by specialized training in Trauma & Orthopaedics in the Royal London Rotation. He further honed his skills with a spinal fellowship at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital, Stanmore. Mr Dannawi is actively engaged in the development of the spinal unit at Southend University Hospital, where he practices. His areas of specialisation encompass spinal surgery, covering a wide range of procedures from back and neck pain to minimally invasive surgery and nerve compression. Alongside his impressive medical career, Mr Dannawi holds several memberships, including the Royal College of Surgeons and the British Orthopaedic Association.
