Mr Yathish Shenava is an experienced Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon with years of expertise in Trauma & Orthopaedic surgery. He trained under the Guys & St Thomas' programme and obtained his FRCS (Tr & Orth) in February 2002. Mr Shenava furthered his specializations with Fellowships in joint replacement surgery at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital Stanmore and Trauma Fellowship at Kings College Hospital London. He has been appointed as a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon at Queen Elizabeth Hospital London since March 2005, holding positions as the Lead for Clinical Governance at the hospital and the University Hospital Lewisham. Specializing in hip and knee surgeries, Mr Yathish Shenava has a keen interest in Arthroscopy of knee ACL reconstruction, Meniscal repair, Cartilage injury, Knee replacement, Hip replacement, as well as treating Trauma, Sports injuries, Wrist fractures, Ankle sprain Achilles tendon rupture, and administering PRP Injections for knees. He is actively involved in training General Practitioners through lectures on Orthopaedic topics and serves as a Mentor to a GP focusing on Musculoskeletal work. His vast qualifications include FRCS (Tr & Orth) from the Intercollegiate Speciality Board in Edinburgh, FRCS from The Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons Glasgow, and more. In addition to his medical career, Mr Yathish Shenava has a passion for sports, actively participating in Badminton, Tennis, and Cricket. He has contributed to various publications and presentations in Peer reviewed journals, showcasing his dedication to ongoing research and development in the Orthopaedic field.
