Mr William Thomas is an experienced consultant specialising in shoulder and elbow surgery, with expertise in joint replacement, arthroscopic (keyhole) surgery, and sports injuries. He is known for pioneering bone-preserving shoulder replacements. Mr Thomas completed his medical training at University College London and obtained his Fellowship from the Royal College of Surgeons of England in 2011. His clinical practice focuses on enhancing patient recovery and improving surgical experiences, with broad experience in shoulder and elbow surgery. With over a decade of experience, Mr Thomas holds various memberships, including the Royal College of Surgeons and the British Orthopaedic Association. He has received accolades for his research work, particularly in Frozen Shoulder investigations and Shoulder Biomechanics in collaboration with Bath University Orthopaedic Biomechanics Laboratory.
