Mr William Mason is a highly experienced consultant with over 14 years of expertise in hand, nerve, and microsurgery. He holds a Fellowship in Hand, Nerve, and Microsurgery and is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons (Tr&Orth) since 2007. Additionally, he obtained his medical qualifications from the University of Cambridge and a Master of Science from the University of Strathclyde. Mr Mason's special interests lie in conditions such as Carpal Tunnel Syndrome, Ulnar Nerve Compression, Dupuytrens Contracture, Trigger Finger, and more. Aside from his impressive qualifications, Mr Mason is actively engaged in sharing his knowledge through numerous publications and conducting courses for General Practitioners on updates in hand and wrist surgery. He is also involved in leading clinical trials on topics such as surgery versus steroid injection for carpal tunnel syndrome and collagenase injection for Dupuytrens Contracture. Outside of work, Mr Mason enjoys spending time with his family and partakes in activities such as cycling, sailing, and walking, showcasing a well-rounded personality beyond the operating theater.
