Professor Kavarthapu's training includes fellowships in minimally invasive hip surgery and foot and ankle surgery, further enriching his skills in these areas. He is also an Honorary Senior Lecturer at King�s College London and an Associate Professor at the University of Southern Denmark, actively involved in research and education within the field. Having received his FRCS in Trauma & Orthopaedics in 2004, Professor Kavarthapu is an esteemed member of various orthopaedic societies, including the British Orthopaedic Association and the British Hip Society. His numerous publications in renowned journals showcase his commitment to advancing orthopaedic care, with a focus on diabetic foot surgery, trauma management, and hip surgeries. Known for his personalised approach to patient care, he leads a multi-disciplinary foot surgery service at his hospital and lectures internationally on his specialised areas of interest, emphasising the importance of tailored treatment and efficient recovery for all his patients.
