Mr Toby Briant-Evans is an experienced Trauma and Orthopaedics Consultant, with over 20 years of expertise in the field. He completed specialist arthroplasty fellowship training in various locations, including New Zealand, Basingstoke, and Oxford. Since 2014, he has held the position of Consultant in Trauma and Orthopaedics at Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. His main specialisations include hip and knee replacement surgery, arthroscopic knee surgery, computer-navigated knee replacement, and unicompartmental knee replacement. Having obtained his medical qualifications from Nottingham University Medical School, Mr Toby Briant-Evans is a distinguished member of the British Orthopaedic Association, Royal College of Surgeons of England, and British Hip Society. He has a particular interest in primary and revision hip and knee replacement, as well as trauma-related orthopaedic procedures. His research work in hip and knee surgery has been presented at major international meetings and published in leading Orthopaedic journals, showcasing his dedication to advancing the field. Outside of his professional commitments, Mr Toby Briant-Evans enjoys cycling, windsurfing, sailing, skiing, and travel. His research interests focus on hip and knee replacement surgery outcomes, including complications and revision surgery. With a strong emphasis on enhanced recovery after arthroplasty, he remains actively involved in teaching surgical trainees and contributing to ongoing research in the orthopaedic field.
