Mr Timothy Millar is an experienced Consultant Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgeon with years of expertise in the field. He obtained his FRCS (Tr&Orth) in 2010 from the RCS England, alongside his medical qualifications from the Universities of St Andrews and Manchester. Mr Millar has a keen interest in foot and ankle surgery, having completed advanced training posts at Wrightington Hospital, and also specialises in orthopaedic trauma and lower limb surgery. He currently holds an NHS position as a Consultant Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgeon at the University Hospitals of Morecambe Bay, with bases in Kendal and Lancaster. Having undergone training in various prestigious medical institutions, including placements in the UK and overseas voluntary work in South Africa, Mr Millar has developed a strong foundation in orthopaedics. His specialisation in foot and ankle surgery is evident through his expertise in a wide range of related conditions, from sports-related injuries to arthritis, providing comprehensive treatment options including surgeries and injections. In addition to his NHS role, Mr Millar has a dedicated interest in complex hindfoot surgery and sports injuries, utilising advanced arthroscopic techniques to deliver high-quality care to his patients. Outside of his professional commitments, Mr Timothy Millar enjoys spending time with his family and takes pleasure in living near the beautiful Lake District and Yorkshire Dales.
