Mr Tarek ElGamal is a highly experienced foot and ankle surgeon currently working as a Consultant Trauma & Orthopaedic Surgeon at University Hospitals of Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust. With over 10 years of expertise in the field, Mr ElGamal has specialised in treating a wide range of foot and ankle conditions, ranging from simple to complex cases. He holds a Master's degree in Trauma & Orthopaedics, and he is also a Clinical Governance Lead at the hospital. Having obtained his FRCS in Trauma-Orth in 2012 and various other qualifications, Mr ElGamal has a deep interest in minimally invasive surgery for foot and ankle disorders. Specialising in MIS Bunion excision, Hammer Toe & Tailor Bunions, as well as other deformity corrections and keyhole procedures, he ensures a pain-free joint function and movement for his patients. Moreover, he has multiple publications in peer-reviewed journals and is a member of prestigious medical societies like the Royal College of Surgeons of England and the European Foot & Ankle Society. Outside of his medical practice, Mr Tarek ElGamal has a keen interest in swimming, having represented his country in multiple tournaments.
