Mr Sylvester Amamilo is a highly experienced Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon with over 45 years of expertise in Trauma & Orthopaedic surgery. His special interests lie in joint replacements for the hip and knee, knee arthroscopies under local anaesthesia, and the preparation of Medico-Legal Reports. Mr Amamilo has received accolades for his work, including a commendation for his thesis and performance in the MCh.Orth exams, as well as being recognised by The Marquis Who is Who in the World Publication's Board in 2012. Having trained at the University College Hospital in Ibadan, Nigeria, Mr Amamilo pursued further postgraduate training in Orthopaedics and Trauma at prestigious institutions like the Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre in Oxford and the University of Liverpool. He also served as a Senior Lecturer and Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon at the University of Nigeria Medical School and Teaching Hospital for 5 years. Throughout his career, Mr Amamilo has worked in both NHS and private hospitals, where he has excelled in joint replacements, knee arthroscopies, and providing expert witness services for legal matters.
