Syed Ahmed

Mr Syed Ahmed is a highly experienced Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon at Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust. Specialising in trauma and orthopaedic surgery, he graduated from University of Sheffield and completed his Higher Surgical Training in Trauma & Orthopaedics in Kent, Surrey, and Sussex. Mr Ahmed further sub-specialised in lower limb arthroplasty during an international experience in Toronto. His expertise includes complex hip and knee replacements, revision hip surgery, and robotic hip and knee arthroplasty. He is actively involved in teaching, memberships in various orthopaedic associations, and has received several awards, including the prestigious British Hip Society Travelling Fellowship in 2019. Having published extensively in peer-reviewed journals and presented at international meetings, Mr Syed Ahmed focuses on the latest hip and knee technology, with a specific interest in enhanced recovery after hip replacement and minimally invasive surgery.
