Mr Syam Morapudi is an experienced consultant orthopaedic surgeon with extensive expertise in Trauma & Orthopaedic surgery. He completed his basic medical training in India at the Christian Medical College, Vellore, and further trained in the UK, achieving his FRCS in Trauma & Orthopaedic Surgery. With a particular focus on complex hip and knee arthroplasty, trauma, and soft-tissue reconstruction of the knee, he has been recognised for his excellent clinical outcomes and high volume arthoplasty work, especially in osteotomy surgery and leg realignment for young patients with knee arthritis. Having completed two fellowships in Melbourne, at the Alfred Hospital and Monash Health, Mr Morapudi enhanced his skills in hip and knee surgery. He is an active member of prestigious medical associations like The Royal College of Surgeons and has published numerous research papers on topics like metal-on-metal joint replacements, clinical outcomes in carpal tunnel decompression, and anterior knee pain. His clinical areas of interest include hip and knee surgeries, joint pain treatment, knee arthroscopy, and lower limb fractures, among others, showcasing his dedication to providing comprehensive orthopaedic care.
