Mr Sri Kamath is an experienced Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon with a specialisation in trauma and orthopaedic surgery. With over 20 years of expertise, he completed his higher surgical training in Orthopaedics in Merseyside in 2009 and went on to fulfil a SAC recognized lower limb arthroplasty fellowship in Portsmouth. He has a wide range of clinical interests including young adult and hip knee related disorders, primary and revision hip and knee replacement surgery, and knee arthroscopic procedures such as meniscal repair and ACL reconstruction. Training lead for junior doctors at the Royal Blackburn Hospital, Mr Kamath is highly involved in the academic aspects of orthopaedics. He also serves as an under graduate examiner at the University of Manchester and has numerous peer-reviewed publications. Moreover, he is an honorary Senior lecturer at the University of Central Lancashire. Specialising in modern bearing hip replacement surgery, knee replacement surgery, and revision hip/knee surgery, Mr Kamath is dedicated to providing personalised care for his patients. Beyond his medical career, Mr Kamath has a keen interest in advancing Quality programs related to Hip and Knee surgeries. He is actively involved with the AOUK faculty for AO fracture fixation courses. With a passion for teaching and research, he has delivered presentations nationally and internationally on various orthopaedic topics, showcasing his commitment to the field and patient care.
