Simon Mordecai

Mr Simon Mordecai is an experienced Consultant Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgeon with years of expertise in managing all foot and ankle conditions. He holds a B.Sc. in Orthopaedic Science from the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital and has completed his higher orthopaedic surgical training in the renowned North West London Training Programme, with attachments at major London hospitals such as St Mary�s Hospital and the Royal Free London NHS Trust. Mr Mordecai's NHS role at East & North Hertfordshire NHS Trust involves teaching trauma and foot and ankle surgery to surgical trainees, as well as leading the diabetic foot multidisciplinary team. He is affiliated with various professional bodies, including the British Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Society and The Royal College of Surgeons England. Specialising in Trauma & Orthopaedic surgery, Mr Mordecai has a particular focus on foot and ankle conditions. He has achieved notable qualifications such as a Merit for his Masters� Degree in Sports Medicine and a Diploma in Medical Education. His sub-specialisation in Foot & Ankle covers a comprehensive range of conditions, from bunion surgery to Achilles disorders. With a GMC Specialist Registration in CCT Trauma & Orthopaedics since 2018, Mr Mordecai is dedicated to his research interests in sports injuries, foot and ankle arthritis, and deformity corrections. His commitment to the field is reflected in his publications, book chapters, and presentations at national and international conferences. Outside of his medical practice, Mr Mordecai is actively engaged in his areas of interest, which include overseeing trauma and foot and ankle surgery at various hospitals such as One Hatfield and Pinehill Hospitals in Hertfordshire, as well as BMI Hendon Hospital in London.
