He graduated in 1992 from Manchester University Medical School, obtaining the prestigious Alice & Edith major scholarship. With over 25 years of expertise in Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgery, Mr Mellor has completed two esteemed Orthopaedic Fellowships in Melbourne, Australia, specialising in hip and knee surgery. He is a member of various associations, including the British Orthopaedic Association and the British Association for Surgery of the Knee (BASK). His special interests lie in hip replacements, knee arthroscopic surgery, ligament reconstruction, and accelerated rehabilitation after joint replacement. Currently, Mr Mellor serves as a consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon for Barnet and Chase Farm NHS trust, with specific trauma commitments at Barnet General and elective operating at Chase Farm. He has outpatient clinics at Finchley Memorial Hospital and has been awarded for Clinical Excellence in 2011. His NHS posts and accolades reflect his dedication to providing high-quality orthopaedic care to his patients.
