Mr Simon Gregg-Smith is an experienced Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon with over 25 years of expertise, specialising exclusively in shoulder surgery. After his medical studies at Corpus Christi College, Oxford, he completed his junior surgical training in Bath and later specialised in orthopaedic surgery at Oxford University. In 1995, he took up a consultant post at the Royal United Hospital in Bath, where he remains today. Mr Gregg-Smith is known for his comprehensive range of surgical and outpatient treatments, including keyhole and open shoulder surgery for various conditions such as injuries, dislocations, tendon issues, and arthritis. He is dedicated to advancing the field through research, teaching, and training both nationally and internationally. With qualifications including a BM BCh from the University of Oxford and FRCS (orth) from the Royal College of Surgeons of England, Mr Simon Gregg-Smith is a recognised expert in shoulder and elbow surgery. His memberships in prestigious organisations such as the Royal College of Surgeons of England, British Orthopaedic Association, and British Elbow and Shoulder Society attest to his commitment to excellence and ongoing professional development.
