Miss Umarji, Clinical Director for Surgery at St. George’s Hospital, London, has over 20 years of expertise in Trauma & Orthopaedic surgery, with specialised training in Hand & Wrist surgery. She is also the Clinical Director of the Department of Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgery at St George's Hospital. Miss Umarji's interests include biological/stem cell treatments like platelet-rich plasma, and she has a notable research focus on Dupuytren’s Disease, exploring innovative treatment options such as collagenase injections and needle fasciotomy. As an experienced Consultant Orthopaedic and Trauma Surgeon, Miss Umarji's sub-specialty lies in Hand/Wrist surgery, catering to high-demand athletes like tennis players, rowers, and rugby players. She is a member of various prestigious medical societies, including the British Orthopaedic Association and the Royal College Of Surgeons of England.
