Mr Sanjeev Patil is an experienced Orthopaedic Consultant with a wealth of expertise in hip surgery. He completed his higher surgical training in Glasgow and pursued further fellowship training internationally, notably in Adult reconstruction at Vancouver General Hospital, Canada. Mr Patil specialises in Young adult hip surgery, offering consultations and treatment for various hip conditions including arthritis, sports injuries, and hip dysplasia. With an emphasis on education, he is actively involved in surgical training programmes and is a faculty member for leading hip surgery courses in the UK. Additionally, he contributes to national standards through the Non Arthroplasty Hip Registry. Having been awarded the prestigious American British Canadian Traveling fellowship and recognised as a joint American-British Hip Society Travelling Fellow, Mr Sanjeev Patil focuses on providing comprehensive hip care at Queen Elizabeth University Hospital, Glasgow and BMI Ross Hall Hospital, Glasgow. He has set up a Tertiary "Young Adult Hip service" in Glasgow and manages complex hip conditions for patients across Scotland. Specialising in hip replacement surgery, revision hip surgery, sports injuries, and corrective surgery for Hip Dysplasia, he actively contributes to research in Hip Surgery and is a longstanding member of the British Hip Society. In addition to his roles in the NHS as a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon, Mr Patil's clinical practice includes primary and revision hip replacement, conservative hip procedures, and management of Periprosthetic fractures. His commitment to professional development and scientific advancement is evident through his involvement in various national and international hip surgery meetings. With over a decade of experience, he continues to enhance patient care and contribute valuable insights to the field of orthopaedic surgery.
