Sanjeev Anand is an experienced Consultant Trauma & Orthopaedic Surgeon at Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust, with a focus on treating all aspects of knee problems, particularly anterior cruciate ligament injuries. He is a recognised expert in the field and has extensive experience in managing complex knee injuries requiring reconstruction. Mr. Anand trained in Orthopaedics in London, Manchester, and Leeds, before completing Specialist Surgical Fellowship training in Australia. He is actively involved in training orthopaedic surgeons, is a founder member of ISKSAA, and serves as the editor-in-chief of the Journal of Arthroscopy and Joint Surgery. With over 15 years of expertise, Mr. Anand specialises in hip and knee surgeries, including hip arthroscopy, lower limb arthroplasty, and ligament reconstruction. He is known for his work on national guidelines for ACL reconstruction and arthroscopic knee surgery. Mr. Anand's qualifications include a Diploma in Sports and Exercise Medicine, FRCS (Tr & Orth), FRCS, MBBS, MS Orthopaedics, and a Postgraduate Diploma in Medical Education. He is actively involved in various medical associations and offers courses to General Practitioners on injections and knee sports injuries education. In addition to his medical pursuits, Mr. Anand enjoys running, squash, and reading in his free time. He has a keen interest in research and has numerous international research publications, along with contributions to book chapters on knee conditions. With a passion for advancing knowledge in orthopaedic surgery, Mr. Anand continues to present his research at national and international meetings, showcasing his dedication to the field.
