Mr Rupen Dattani is an experienced Trauma & Orthopaedic Surgeon with extensive expertise in shoulder and elbow surgery. He obtained his medical degree from the University of Wales and completed his Orthopaedic training at the South West Thames specialist registrar programme. Mr Dattani holds a doctorate of medicine (MD) in orthopaedics from University College London and has received two prestigious fellowships in shoulder and elbow surgery. He currently serves as a Consultant Trauma & Orthopaedic Surgeon at Chelsea & Westminster Hospital in London. Specialising exclusively in shoulder and elbow arthroscopic and arthroplasty procedures, as well as surgeries for fractures around these joints. Training extensively in shoulder and elbow surgery and orthopaedic trauma, Mr Rupen Dattani has gained significant recognition in his field. He is a member of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh and the British Elbow and Shoulder Society. With a keen interest in research, Mr Dattani has published numerous articles in peer-reviewed journals and has presented his work at national and international conferences. His focus areas include shoulder and elbow sports injuries, shoulder arthroscopy, shoulder replacements, and more. He has a strong research ethic and believes in the importance of well-controlled research in advancing medical care.
