Mr Robin Banerjee is an experienced Lower Limb Arthroplasty Surgeon with over 20 years of expertise in the field. He embarked on his medical journey at Liverpool Medical School in 1998, followed by various roles in Liverpool and Oswestry, specializing in Orthopaedics. Noteworthy achievements include winning medals, research awards, and serving as a Cavendish Hip Fellow in Sheffield. Since 2009, he has been a Consultant Surgeon at The Robert Jones and Agnes Hunt Orthopaedic NHS Foundation Trust Hospital, focusing on elective surgeries and being a high-volume arthroplasty surgeon. With a strong background in Trauma & Orthopaedic Surgery, Mr Banerjee is recognised for his sub-specializations in Primary and Revision hip and knee replacements, as well as complex joint replacements post-trauma or childhood disorders. He has further honed his skills through fellowship training and holds memberships in the BMA and British Hip Society. Alongside his NHS roles, he is actively involved in educating General Practitioners through seminars and practice visits. His qualifications include MBChB from Liverpool Medical School, as well as MRCS and FRCS(Orth) from the Royal College of Surgeons Edinburgh.
