Richard Jeavons

Mr Richard Jeavons is an experienced Shoulder & Elbow Surgeon based in Teesside, with years of expertise in contemporary shoulder and elbow surgery. He is fellowship trained in trauma and orthopaedics, holding memberships with various surgical associations. Mr Jeavons is the Lead for Orthopaedic Trauma at North Tees & Hartlepool NHS Trust and offers NHS and private clinical services in the region. Specialising in joint replacements, arthroscopic procedures, nerve decompression, and trauma management, he also has a keen interest in sports injuries of the shoulder and elbow. Having attained degrees in Medical Sciences and Medicine from Leeds University, Mr Jeavons completed his Higher Surgical Training in Orthopaedics & Trauma in the Northern Deanery. He is actively involved in teaching and training orthopaedic surgeons and allied healthcare professionals, organising and participating in courses on shoulder arthroscopy. Additionally, he is a Treasurer for the OrthNorth Teaching & Educational Association and contributes to research in orthopaedic trauma, shoulder, and elbow conditions. With numerous qualifications and a commitment to continuous education, Mr Jeavons is dedicated to providing high-quality care in his specialty.
