He graduated from King�s College London in 1997, before completing specialised orthopaedic training in Sheffield. He further honed his skills with an upper limb fellowship in Coventry and was appointed as a consultant at Rotherham Hospital in 2009. Richard is dedicated to providing a wide range of treatments for various shoulder and elbow conditions, including open and arthroscopic procedures. Alongside his clinical role, he serves as the clinical effectiveness, audit, and governance lead at Rotherham Hospital, and is actively involved in medical education at both regional and national levels. With over 20 years of experience in the field, Richard Bryant holds key positions in the NHS, serving as a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon at Rotherham Hospital and leading the shoulder & elbow specialist service at Sheffield Children's Hospital. He is a member of prestigious organisations such as the British Elbow & Shoulder Society and the British Orthopaedics Association. Richard's qualifications include MBBS and BSc in Biomedical Science from King's College London, as well as MRCS and FRCS in trauma & orthopaedics from the Royal College of Surgeons.
