Mr Richard Baker is an experienced Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon specialising in joint replacement surgery of the hip and knee. With over 20 years of expertise, he performs over 300 joint replacements annually and has completed more than 2500 operations. Mr Baker's NHS practice is based at the Avon Orthopaedic Centre, where he focuses on revision surgery for failed hip and knee replacements. He trained in Bristol and underwent a fellowship in Vancouver, integrating techniques from the UK and North America to achieve optimal patient outcomes. Having completed his MB.ChB in 1999 at Manchester University, Mr Baker furthered his training with an MSc in orthopaedic engineering, Adult arthroplasty fellowship, and an MD.
