Mr Rhodri Williams is an experienced consultant orthopaedic surgeon specialising in routine, complex, and revision hip and knee replacement surgery. With years of expertise, he completed his higher surgical training at the prestigious University College London Hospital (UCLH) orthopaedic rotation. Mr Williams has a keen interest in surgical education, holding a Masters degree in Surgical Education (MEd) from Imperial College London and a Postgraduate Certificate (PgC) in Clinical Leadership and Innovation. He serves as the joint Royal College of Surgeons of England Tutor for Hywel Dda University NHS Health Board and Treasurer of the Welsh Orthopaedic Society. Having completed the British Orthopaedic Association Hip Fellowship and Advanced Cardiff Knee Fellowship programs, Mr Williams has enhanced his expertise in hip and knee surgery. He is a consultant Primary, Complex Primary, and Revision Hip and Knee Surgeon at Hywel Dda University Health Board. Specialising in trauma and orthopaedic surgery, Mr Williams is actively involved in clinical research and is a member of various prestigious medical societies. He is also fluent in Welsh, enabling effective communication with patients. When not at work, Mr Williams enjoys sports like running and skiing, and is a dedicated family man married with three young daughters. In addition to his medical commitments, Mr Williams presents to GP practices and is passionate about providing updated information on orthopedics. He has published extensively in specialist peer review journals and presents nationally and internationally. With an interest in surgical education and a commitment to clinical research, Mr Williams continues to contribute significantly to the field of orthopaedic surgery. His personal interests include supporting rugby, running, skiing, and enjoying outdoor activities in Wales.
