Mr Reshid Berber is a highly experienced Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon specialising in Hip and Knee Replacement Surgery. With many years of expertise, he is based at Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust and is a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon at the City Hospital. Mr Berber obtained his PhD from University College London, conducting internationally recognised research at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital. He has a keen interest in revision hip and knee surgery, treating young patients with arthritic knees, and offering various treatments such as unicompartmental knee replacement. Additionally, he is a consultant member of the East Midlands Specialist Orthopaedic Network, actively involved in teaching and has published numerous peer-reviewed scientific articles. Having completed his training on esteemed programmes in both Nottingham and Leicester, Mr Berber went on to receive a Senior Lower Limb Arthroplasty Fellowship. He is a member of various renowned medical associations like the British Association for Surgery of the Knee and has presented at international conferences, including the American Association of Orthopaedic Surgeons. His research interests include the outcomes of new knee replacement designs and revision knee replacements. Noteworthy accolades include a British Orthopaedic Association travelling fellowship to the Hospital for Special Surgery in New York, USA, and awards in recognition of his research activities. Outside of his professional life, Mr Berber is an avid sports enthusiast, enjoying football, golf, and tennis. He also has a passion for travelling to explore diverse cultures and cuisines, particularly in Asia.
