Raman Dega

Mr R Dega is an experienced Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon with over 23 years of expertise in the field. He is currently affiliated with Wexham Park and Heatherwood Hospitals Trust, where he specialises in foot and ankle surgery. His training on the Royal London Orthopaedic rotation and experience working at the Royal National Orthopaedic hospital Stanmore influenced his decision to focus on foot and ankle surgery, leading to his appointment as a consultant in 1998. Mr Dega's specialisations include minimal invasive surgery for bunion problems, ankle arthroscopy, ankle replacement, ankle fusions, and sports injuries of the lower limb. He is a member of The British Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Society and American Orthopaedic Foot & Ankle Society. With qualifications including FRCS and FRCS{ORTH}, Mr Dega has a keen interest in trauma & orthopaedic surgery and is a member of the British Orthopaedic Association. He has received awards for his contributions to foot and ankle surgery and regularly conducts courses for General Practitioners on foot and ankle-related topics. His research interests have led to publications in various medical journals, and he is actively involved in training other orthopaedic professionals. Moreover, Mr Dega is known for organising and co-chairing the Annual Wexham Park Foot and Ankle meeting, in addition to being an invited speaker at National and International meetings. Outside his medical practice, Mr Dega enjoys pursuing his personal interests in sports, including playing tennis, running, and travelling. His dedication to research and training, coupled with his passion for foot and ankle surgery, make him a respected figure in the orthopaedic community.
