Mr Rajesh Nanda is an experienced Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon with a focus on Upper Limb surgery, particularly in the areas of shoulder and elbow. He completed his Higher Surgical Training in the North East of England and obtained a Fellowship in Shoulder and Elbow surgery at The James Cook University Hospital. Since August 2010, he has been serving as a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon at the University Hospital of North Tees & Hartlepool, UK. Mr Nanda also holds an Honorary Lecturer position at Teesside University, where he is involved in the development and delivery of the MCh Orthopaedics course. Additionally, he is an active member of various professional societies, such as the British Elbow & Shoulder Surgeons Society and the British Orthopaedic Association. With over a decade of expertise, Mr Rajesh Nanda specialises in all aspects of upper limb surgery, including trauma and sports injuries. His clinical interests extend to shoulder arthroscopy, joint replacement procedures for the shoulder and elbow, elbow arthroscopy, and hand surgery. He has received recognition for his contributions to the field, including being awarded the British Elbow & Shoulder Surgeons Society CPD Fellowship. As an esteemed faculty member on numerous surgical courses, he is dedicated to teaching and training the next generation of orthopaedic surgeons. Mr Nanda has a strong research focus, actively participating in International & National Multi Centre Trials and presenting his work at conferences worldwide. Apart from his professional commitments, Mr Rajesh Nanda is passionate about educating General Practitioners on topics related to shoulder and upper limb issues. He has a keen interest in research in Orthopaedics, particularly in Upper Limb conditions, and continues to contribute to advancements in the field.
