Mr Rajarshi Bhattacharya is an experienced Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon with a specialisation in knee surgery. He holds the position of Clinical Director at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust & North West London Major Trauma Centre. Additionally, he serves as the President of the Orthopaedic Section at the Royal Society of Medicine, London. With over 70 articles published in respected journals like Nature and JAMA, Mr Bhattacharya is an accomplished Fellow of the Austria, Swiss & German Orthopaedic Association. Having obtained an MBA from Imperial College Business School in 2018 and an MSc from the University of Teesside in 2004, Mr Rajarshi Bhattacharya is also a FRCS (Trauma & Orthopaedics) from the Royal College of Surgeons in 2009. He is known for his expertise in knee surgery, focusing on areas such as knee pain, arthritis, knee replacement, and ligament reconstruction. As the UK Faculty for American College of Surgeons (ACS)-UK Acute Care Emergency Surgery & Trauma Program, he is actively involved in research on healing fractures and simulation training in surgery. Outside of his medical career, Mr Bhattacharya has a keen interest in academia, serving as an Honorary Clinical Senior Lecturer at Imperial College, London.
