With 6 years of training in this field through the Northern Ireland Higher Surgical Training Programme, he further honed his expertise with sub-specialty fellowships in Hip and Knee replacement surgeries. He has a strong focus on research, with multiple publications in respected international and national Trauma and Orthopaedic journals. Archbold is actively involved in professional meetings and symposia across the UK & Ireland, Europe, and the United States. In addition to a successful public practice at Musgrave Park Hospital and the Royal Victoria Hospital, he leads the RISUS group dedicated to minimizing injury risk in Schoolboy Rugby. Specialising in Trauma & Orthopaedic surgery, with sub-specialties in Hip and Knee procedures, Archbold�s areas of interest include a wide range of knee and hip conditions. He is particularly skilled in Arthroscopic anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction, multi-ligament knee injuries, meniscal repair, and knee replacement surgeries. With a focus on patello-femoral disorders, sports muscle injuries, and hip conditions like trochanteric bursitis, Archbold is dedicated to delivering high-quality care to his patients.
