Mr Pierluigi Cuomo is a highly experienced London-based Consultant orthopaedic surgeon specialising in open and arthroscopic knee surgery, hip and knee replacement, and orthopaedic oncology. With over 15 years of expertise, Mr Cuomo obtained his medical degree from the University of Florence and a PhD in mechanical engineering from Imperial College London. He has served as a consultant in orthopaedic oncology and reconstructive surgery in Florence University Hospital and later at The Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital in Stanmore. In 2020, he was appointed Honorary Senior Lecturer at the Department of Bioengineering for his research projects to enhance surgical outcomes. His specialisations include trauma and orthopaedic surgery, with sub-specialties in hip and knee procedures. Currently, Mr Cuomo serves as a substantive Consultant at Practice Plus Group Hospital in Ilford, where he continues to provide expert care and innovative research initiatives to benefit patients.
