Mr Phillip Edge is an experienced senior consultant orthopaedic surgeon based in Bedford. With years of expertise, he specialises in various areas of orthopaedic surgery, excelling in both upper limb and lower limb procedures. His specialisations include hip and knee replacements, knee arthroscopy, hand and elbow surgery, and foot surgery, particularly for bunions. Mr Edge is actively involved in teaching, especially with trainees and students on the Cambridge orthopaedic rotation, as well as specialist physiotherapists. He currently holds a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon position at Bedford Hospital. Having achieved his FCS (SA) Orth qualification in 1996 from the College of Medicine in South Africa, Mr Edge is dedicated to continually updating his knowledge and skills in the field.
