Peter Owen is an experienced Consultant Trauma & Orthopaedic Surgeon with expertise in hip replacement and revision surgery, knee arthroscopy and replacement surgery, as well as trauma surgery, including pelvic and acetabular fractures. With over 20 years of experience, he holds NHS positions at Addenbrookes Hospital in Cambridge and serves as the Clinical Director of the Musculoskeletal Clinical Business Unit. Peter also leads the Orthopaedic Elective Work-stream for Cambridgeshire's Sustainability and Transformation Plan and is an Independent Expert Clinician on the Evaluation Panel for Elective Orthopaedic Care in South East London. Having obtained his FRCS (Trauma & Orthopaedics) in 1999 from the Royal Colleges of Surgeons and a BA (Hons) from the University of Cambridge in 1987, Peter Owen is a well-qualified specialist in his field. He is a member of the British Hip Society and is registered with GMC Specialist Registration under CCST since 2000. Peter's dedication to his work and proven track record have earned him recognition within the orthopaedic surgery community. In his spare time, Peter Owen enjoys exploring his areas of interest outside of his medical profession. Whether pursuing personal hobbies or engaging in community activities, Peter's diverse interests and well-rounded nature complement his role as a skilled and dedicated orthopaedic surgeon.
