Mr Peter Cnudde is a highly experienced consultant Trauma & Orthopaedic Surgeon with over 20 years of expertise. He completed his Orthopaedic training program in 2001 through the Leuven rotation in Belgium and has received further fellowship training in Arthroplasty, Foot, and Ankle Surgery. Mr Cnudde specialises in knee and hip replacement surgery, complex hip and knee arthroplasty, and revision hip and knee surgery. He played a key role in developing the elective joint replacement unit at Prince Philip Hospital and has authored numerous articles on arthroplasty, contributing to national and international meetings. Having defended his PhD Thesis at the Institute of Clinical Sciences from the Sahlgenska Academy in Sweden, Mr Cnudde focuses on patient-centred longitudinal outcomes following hip replacement surgery. He has been awarded the prestigious Rothman-Ranawat fellowship for 2020, with accreditation in performing Robotically Assisted Total Knee Replacements. Alongside his NHS position as Consultant T&O at Werndale Hospital, he is a member of various orthopaedic associations and has presented at esteemed conferences like SICOT, AAOS, BHS, EHS, EFORT, BOA, and ISAR meetings. His sub-specialties include hip and knee surgeries, with a keen interest in primary knee and hip arthroplasty, complex primary knee and hip arthroplasty, and revision arthroplasty surgery.
