Mr Peter Bobak is a highly experienced Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon with a focus on treating hip and knee conditions. With over 24 years of expertise in joint replacement surgery, Mr Bobak graduated from Semmelweis Medical University in 1988. He completed his orthopaedic training in various prestigious institutions before joining Wrightington Hospital for a fellowship in primary and revision hip and knee arthroplasty. In 2005 he was appointed as a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon in Leeds, where he also holds an Honorary Senior Lecturer position at Leeds Medical University. Mr Bobak specialises in revision surgery for infected joint replacements and reconstruction of failed joint replacements using bone allograft. Having obtained his MD in 1988, Mr Bobak is a member of several medical associations including the British Orthopaedic Association and the European Hip Society. His special interests include arthroscopy, knee and hip replacement surgery, and revision surgery. Additionally, he offers video and telephone consultations for patient convenience. With a particular focus on research, Mr Bobak has published numerous papers in the field of hip and knee revision surgery. He actively participates in national and international medical meetings to remain updated on the latest advancements. Beyond his medical practice, Mr Bobak enjoys family time at his home on the outskirts of Leeds with his wife and two sons.
