Mr Akimau specialises in Trauma & Orthopaedic Surgery, with a particular focus on foot and ankle surgery and general trauma cases. Having earned a PhD in Medical Science from Osaka University Medical School in 2004, a FRCS Tr&Orth qualification from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in 2015, and a CCT in Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgery from the GMC in 2016, Mr Akimau is highly qualified in his field. He is a member of various medical bodies including BOFAS, BMA, HCSA, and MPS. His research interests also include foot and ankle surgery, showcasing his dedication to advancing knowledge and techniques in this specialized area.
