Mr Paul Maguire is a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon with over 20 years of experience. He obtained his medical degree from University College London in 1999 and completed his higher surgical training in the North West. He further specialized in knee and hip surgery, including sports injuries and revision arthroplasty, during his fellowship training at the Knee Unit in Bolton. Mr Maguire also holds a Master of Science in Orthopaedic Technology from the University of Dundee. In 2011, he was appointed as a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon at Lancaster Royal Infirmary. Mr Maguire's areas of expertise include trauma and orthopaedic surgery, with a focus on hip and knee procedures. He is skilled in knee replacement surgery, hip replacement surgery, arthroscopic knee surgery, ACL and PCL reconstruction, meniscus repair, and soft tissue reconstruction for patella dislocation. He is also experienced in bone realignment surgery for patella dislocation and osteoarthritis, osteotomy around the knee for osteoarthritis, and revision knee surgery.
