Graduating from St George's Hospital Medical School, London in 1999, he pursued various surgical training before obtaining his Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons for Trauma and Orthopaedic surgery in 2012. With expertise in shoulder and elbow surgery, Mr Guyver is a dedicated NHS Consultant Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgeon at University Hospitals Plymouth. He specialises in a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions affecting the shoulder and elbow, offering treatments such as shoulder stabilisation, shoulder & elbow arthroscopy, and elbow soft tissues management. Having completed fellowship training in renowned centres like the Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre, Oxford, and Mayo Clinic, Rochester, USA, Paul Guyver is affiliated with esteemed medical societies including The Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh and The British Orthopaedic Association. His research and publications in Orthopaedics and Trauma, such as assessments of arthroscopic skills and management of shoulder disorders, reflect his commitment to advancing the field.
