Mr Oday Al-Dadah is a highly experienced consultant in trauma & orthopaedic surgery with a particular focus on hip and knee procedures. He completed his higher surgical training on the Cambridge programme and pursued sub-specialist fellowship training in various prestigious institutions, honing his expertise in knee surgery, including sports injuries and joint replacement. Mr Al-Dadah's extensive experience includes performing arthroscopic knee surgery, ligament reconstruction, knee osteotomy, partial knee joint replacements, as well as total hip and knee replacements, including revisions. He is actively involved in teaching and training, with a keen interest in complex knee trauma and pediatric knee injuries. Additionally, he is the Editor-in-Chief of The Knee Journal and holds various memberships in prominent surgical associations. With years of expertise in the field, Mr Al-Dadah completed a doctorate thesis on Reconstructive Knee Surgery and has a strong academic background, highlighted by his appointment as the Programme Director of the South Tyneside Basic Surgical Rotation. He is actively engaged in research and has published work in peer-reviewed journals, earning prizes and gold medals for his presentations. His commitment to evidence-based medicine is underscored by his role as the Foundation Programme Tutor, overseeing junior doctor training at South Tyneside. Specialising in a wide range of knee procedures, from ACL reconstruction to joint replacements, Mr Al-Dadah's practice is guided by the latest advancements in the field, ensuring the highest standard of care for his patients. Beyond his professional commitments, Mr Al-Dadah is dedicated to remaining at the forefront of his field, regularly attending national and international conferences.
