Mr Nigel Kiely is a highly experienced consultant orthopaedic surgeon, specialising in both children's and adult orthopaedics. With over 17 years of expertise in the field, Mr Kiely focuses on conditions such as clubfoot, hip dysplasia, limb deformity in children, and young adult hip pain in adults. He is currently serving as a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon at The Robert Jones and Agnes Hunt Orthopaedic Hospital in Oswestry, Shropshire, bringing his vast knowledge and skills to his NHS role. In addition to his extensive experience, Mr Kiely holds a FRCS in Trauma and Orthopaedics from the UK Intercollegiate Board, completed in 2001, and an MSc in Orthopaedic Engineering from Cardiff University in 2000. He has a particular interest in paediatric orthopaedics, hip disorders, deformity correction, limb reconstruction, and clinical negligence among various other areas. Mr Kiely is a member of prestigious medical associations such as the British Medical Association, British Society for Children's Orthopaedics, and the British Orthopaedic Association. Outside of his medical practice, Mr Kiely is involved in conducting courses for General Practitioners on children's orthopaedics and young adult hip disorders, showcasing his dedication to educating and sharing knowledge within the medical community. His research interests focus on developmental dysplasia of the hip and clubfoot, demonstrating his commitment to advancing the field of orthopaedic surgery and improving patient outcomes.
