Mr Nicholas Beattie is an experienced Orthopaedic Surgeon specializing exclusively in hip and knee surgeries. He has expertise in primary and revision hip and knee replacement surgery. He completed his medical training at St Andrews/Manchester University Medical School and underwent specialist Orthopaedic training at St George's Hospital in London and the University of Edinburgh. He also pursued further training in Vancouver, where he completed a fellowship with the Adult Reconstruction team. Mr Beattie is currently a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon at NHS Buckinghamshire and practices privately at BMI The Chiltern Hospital in Great Missenden. He is known for his use of new surgical technologies, modern implant design, and minimally invasive techniques to achieve successful and long-lasting joint replacement solutions. Mr Beattie is passionate about returning patients to an active and healthy lifestyle after surgery and has a particular interest in treating young athletic patients. In addition to his medical career, he enjoys spending time with his family, playing golf, and skiing. Mr Nicholas Beattie has a strong academic background, having published extensively and presented academic papers worldwide. His research interests lie in the outcomes of hip and knee replacements.
