Neil Orpen

Mr Neil Orpen is an experienced spinal surgeon specialising in minimally invasive surgical techniques, disc replacement surgery, and non-operative injection options for managing back and neck pain. With years of expertise in cement augmentation techniques like vertebroplasty and kyphoplasty, he offers comprehensive solutions for spinal fractures and tumours. Holding the FRCS Ed (Tr & Orth) qualification and being a member of prestigious associations like the British Orthopaedic Association and the British Association of Spinal Surgeons, Mr Orpen is recognised for his expertise in trauma & orthopaedic surgery. He obtained his MBChB from the University of Stellenbosch in 1996 and has a GMC Specialist Registration in Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgery since 2009. Apart from specialising in spine care, video consultations, and telephone consultations, his areas of interest include micro-spinal decompression, injection therapies, and kyphoplasty and vertebroplasty.
