Mr Jeyam is a highly experienced Consultant Shoulder & Upper Limb Surgeon, serving as the Clinical Lead for Elective Orthopaedic Services at Salford Royal Hospital. He is also the head of the Shoulder Unit at Salford Royal Teaching Hospital, where he practices within the NHS. With over 25 years of expertise, Mr Jeyam holds the position of Senior Lecturer at Salford University and is the Secretary of the North West Orthopaedic Association. Having been awarded the Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons in 1995, Mr Jeyam has been actively involved in research, obtaining a research degree of M-Phil from the University of Manchester. His areas of expertise lie in Trauma & Orthopaedic Surgery, with specializations in Shoulder & Elbow surgeries. Additionally, he is a member of prestigious medical societies including the British Shoulder and Elbow Society and the American Orthopaedic Society. He has delivered educational talks to General Practitioners and received awards for his contributions to the field. Aside from his professional accomplishments, Mr Jeyam enjoys playing golf in his free time. His research interests include Basic Science, Shoulder Surgery, and Aseptic Loosening. With a comprehensive understanding of various upper limb conditions such as Shoulder pain, Rotator cuff problems, and Elbow arthritis, Mr Jeyam is dedicated to providing high-quality care to his patients while advancing the field of orthopaedic surgery.
