Michael Parry is a consultant orthopaedic surgeon with years of experience in the field. He completed his undergraduate medical training at the University of Bristol in 2001, and went on to complete his higher surgical training there as well. In 2012, he was awarded a Doctorate in Medicine for his research on the effects of debris released by hip replacements. He has also completed fellowship training in lower limb arthroplasty and orthopaedic oncology. Since 2014, he has been a consultant orthopaedic surgeon at the Royal Orthopaedic Hospital and an Honorary Senior Lecturer at the University of Aston. Michael Parry's specializations include trauma and orthopaedic surgery. He is a member of various professional organizations such as the European Musculoskeletal Oncology Society, British Sarcoma Group, British Hip Society, and British Association of Surgeons of the Knee. He is also available to give talks and courses to healthcare professionals in his areas of interest. His qualifications include a BSc (hons), MBChB, MRCS, Post Graduate Certificate in Medical Education, Medical Doctorate, and FRCS (Tr & Ortho). Aside from his medical career, Michael Parry has research interests in the basic science of sarcoma, long-term effects of primary tumors of bone, management of soft tissue sarcoma, periprosthetic joint infection, and functional outcomes of joint replacement surgery. He is dedicated to providing comprehensive care and expertise to his patients.
