Mr Mawdsley holds a Surgical College Fellowship in trauma and orthopaedics FRCS, along with prestigious fellowships in complex spinal surgery. He has been a consultant spinal surgeon at Northumbria Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust since 2019 and is actively involved in research, medical education, and professional organisations such as the British Association of Spinal Surgeons. Having received his qualifications from esteemed institutions, including a FRCS (Tr and Orth) from the Royal College of Surgeons, Mr Mawdsley's sub-specialty lies in spinal surgery.
