Mr Matthew Dodd is an experienced consultant with expertise in hip replacement, knee replacement, partial knee replacement, hip arthroscopy, knee arthroscopy, ACL reconstruction, and hip and knee sports injuries. He holds a FRCS qualification from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh since 2010. With a Soft tissue knee and lower limb reconstruction Fellowship training, Mr Dodd's publications cover a range of orthopaedic topics, from patellofemoral instability to total hip replacement outcomes. His research interests align with his specializations, contributing to national and international studies and numerous peer-reviewed publications. In addition to his qualifications and publications, Mr Matthew Dodd is affiliated with several healthcare institutions, including Wales Hip and Knee, Sancta Maria Hospital, Morriston Hospital - Swansea University Health Board, and Nuffield Hospital Cardiff and The Vale. Personally, he enjoys sailing, skiing, golf, and rugby. Having relocated from London to South Wales in 2013 for a better quality of life, Mr Dodd resides with his family near the scenic Gower peninsula and Swansea City. Alongside his clinical and academic pursuits, Mr Matthew Dodd has a keen interest in research, focusing on topics within his areas of sub-specialty.
