Mr Mark Hamlet is a highly experienced Orthopaedic Consultant with over 20 years of expertise in treating shoulder and knee problems. He has a special interest in arthroscopic (Keyhole) surgery, sports injuries, and day case surgery. Mr Hamlet has held the position of Consultant at Queen's Hospital in Burton on Trent since 1999. Mr Hamlet has undergone trauma fellowship training and is a member of the British Elbow and Shoulder Society as well as the British Orthopaedic Association. He holds a MBBS degree from London and a FRCS(Orth) qualification obtained in England in 1998. His sub-specialties include knee, shoulder, and elbow surgeries. His areas of interest include shoulder surgery, sports injuries, arthroscopy, knee surgery, ACL reconstruction, Achilles tendon injuries, subacromial decompression, rotator cuff repair, shoulder replacement, distal biceps repair, meniscal repair, meniscectomy, patella stabilisation, knee replacement, unicompartmental knee replacement, acromioclavicular joint reconstruction, clavicle fracture, shoulder fracture, and humerus fracture.
