Mr Manoj Sikand is a highly skilled consultant orthopaedic surgeon with extensive experience in his field. He has received fellowship training in orthopaedic surgery in the USA, Australia, and the UK. His specializations include lower limb arthroplasty, with a focus on hip surgery such as primary hip replacement, hip resurfacing, and revision hip surgery. He is also skilled in knee replacement and knee arthroscopy, particularly in cases of osteoarthritis and arthritis. Mr Sikand holds a substantive consultant post at Sandwell and West Birmingham Teaching Hospitals. Mr Sikand has a number of qualifications and memberships, including FRCS Trauma and Orthopaedics from the Royal College of Surgeons, FRCS from the RCPS Glasgow, and MS from Punjab University. He is a member of GMC, MPS, and BMA. He has published work in esteemed medical journals such as JBJS American, Annals of the Royal College of Surgeons, Acta Belgica, and Injury. Additionally, Mr Sikand offers courses to general practitioners, providing talks on clinical examination skills, injection therapy, and lectures on recent advances.
