Mr Mahesh Pimple is an experienced Consultant in Trauma & Orthopaedic Surgery, with expertise in injuries of the Upper limb including the shoulder, elbow, hand, and wrist. He completed his Specialist training in London followed by a fellowship in Upper limb surgery at King’s College hospital. Since 2011, he has been a Consultant specialising in surgery of the hand, wrist, shoulder, and elbow, using advanced arthroscopic and minimally invasive techniques. Mr Mahesh also offers joint replacement surgery and trauma practice for fractures and ligament injuries. He is known for his keyhole surgery for arthritis in the thumb and small hand joints. Having qualifications of MS (Orthopaedics) from the University of Mumbai and FRCS(Orth) from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, Mr Mahesh Pimple has published in various medical journals and presented at international meetings. He is a member of prestigious societies like the British Elbow and Shoulder Society, British Society for Surgery of the Hand, and the British Orthopaedic Association. His areas of interest include shoulder impingement, tendinitis, rotator cuff tear, arthritis, and various hand and wrist conditions such as Carpal tunnel syndrome and Dupuytren’s disease. In addition to his professional pursuits, Mr Mahesh Pimple enjoys playing badminton in his personal time. He is dedicated to research in the fields of shoulder, elbow, hand, and wrist, contributing to the advancement of orthopaedic surgery. With a comprehensive multidisciplinary upper limb service, he collaborates closely with Hand therapists and Physiotherapists to provide high-quality care to his patients.
